Balázs Bujtor, the Pannon Philharmonic’s concert master has signed a 2-year-contract for film music studio recordings for the BBC from 2013. According to the terms and conditions of the contract, the concert master and the studio orchestra tasks would be difficult to coop, therefore Balázs Bujtor leaves the Pannon Philharmonic, because of this extraordinary possibility.
"We have worked together with Balázs Bujtor during a very important and determinative period of the orchestra's life; but the Pannon Philharmonic is unable to compete in the financial conditions of the international music scene, so I understand the decision. The unexpected opportunity and the sudden decision does not hinder us, as the Pannon Philharmonic has had two concert masters, Balázs Bujtor and Márta Deák, who studied as a pupil of the legendary violinist György Pauk, at the London Royal Academy of Music, and also has been working as a concert master at our orchestra for 5 years. The next period, Márta Deák is undertaking the tasks concert master tasks on her own; and to replace Balázs Bujtor, the orchestra is announcing an audition", said Zsolt Horváth, the director of the Pannon Philharmonic.
"I have been spent very productive and inspiring five years of my career here; and I am going to remember having very nice concerts and experiences during this common period", wrote Balázs Bujtor concert master in his quitting letter.
