About the Programme

The winner of last year's conductor contest, Leonardo Sini guides the audience into the world of Italian music during the program titled Dating in Rome. This time, however, you should not expect to meet the great figures of Italian music, Verdi or Rossini, but the younger ones including Respighi from the turn of the century and Nino Rota of the 20th century, who is also well known for the music he composed for Fellini's films. The other participant of the date is not Italian, but French. He is André Jolivet, whose trumpet concerto featuring the evening will evoke America and the world of Jazz in the concert hall.
