About the Programme
Today it is considered really exceptional in classical music if someone is an acknowledged conductor and composer at the same time, and this recognition should not be limited only to his own country, but concerns the Europe as well as other continents. The greater the joy is that among these few, there is a Hungarian, Péter Eötvös. This evening is a celebration of him on his 75th birthday. And since not only a composer, but a conductor is celebrated at the same time, who else could be the conductor of the evening, but the composer, Péter Eötvös?!
