About the Programme

At the concert, the Pannon Philharmonic is going around the being of a father today and in the past, following Miklós Vámos’s Fathers’ Book. The stuff of Péter Gerendás’s pop-music album is going to be played in a symphonic transcription by Kornél Fekete-Kovács.
Before the concert, in the early afternoon, fathers and their sons from Pécs will talk about actual and centuries-old questions about fatherhood, moderated by Rita Schweier. In the evening, the author of the programme-title-giving novel, Miklós Vámos is going to tell a story about writing of his book..
