Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven – they are usually mentioned together as the great Viennese classics. And indeed, they are the group of composers whose names are well-known even to people who do not listen to classical music. Yet it is not common that concerts are dedicated exclusively to them. As far as the underlying atmosphere of the program is concerned, it is a perfect match for a spring evening: it is full of strength and optimism. The early symphony of Haydn's evoking spring or summer evenings, Mozart's cheerful, oboe concerto with its playful tone and Beethoven’s symphony nr. 4, composed between and Eroica and Fate symphonies, has been deservedly chosen to elevate audience to musical and spiritual highs.
