As the resident orchestra of the Kodály Centre, the Pannon Philharmonic commemorates the works of the worthily renowned composer and music pedagogue, together with the choirs of the city of Pécs. In the frames of the Kodály Fest on the Main Square, with open air performance of the composer’s symphonic works, the orchestra is trying the draw attention to Kodály’s famous saying: “Music shall be everyone’s!” As part of the show, which is organised in the frames of the 1st Student Festival of Pécs, there will be singing together and performance of modern arrangements of folksongs, as well.
