The conductor Zsolt Hamar was born in 1968. He started playing the piano at the age of six, then studied composition at the Béla Bartók Secondary School of Music.

About the Programme

The City of Pécs, as you may know, is going to be the European Capital of Culture in 2010. The Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, as the official ambassador of the programme, requests the pleasure of your presence at our forthcoming concert in the National Theatre of Pecs on 1st October 2008 to experience an excellent performance of the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra.

The conductor of the concert is Mr. Zsolt Hamar, our internationally acknowledged Musical Director. The soloist of the concert is Mr. László Polgár, the famous Hungarian opera basso profundo from the Zurich Opera House.
