About the Programme

This anniversary concert is a double joy. We are celebrating the more-decade-long work of two bands that both think that poetry and music springs from the same bud. The Kaláka has worked for 45 years, the Szélkiáltó for 40 to show that the co-existence of poems and music is a special bound; it is an extreme ambience, in which the two art forms mutually strengthen each other. The enormous popularity of the bands’ oeuvres is a reference of their more-decade-long works.
