About the Programme

Our orchestra is performing the winning production of the 2016 Armel Opera Festival, in London. The conductor of the evening is Maestro Péter Eötvös, the composer of the performed opera. The Senza Sangue (Without Blood) directed by Róbert Alföldi is the companion play of Béla Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle. The joint premiere of the two works was last year, in the frames of the Armel Opera Festival in Avignon, France; as a winning performance it will be premiered in the British capital in autumn 2017.
