The Silver Fever Jewellery Gallery (Ezüstláz Ékszergaléria) commissioned 17 well-known goldsmith artists to „compose” jewels for a given musical theme, to an exhibition in honour of the Pannon Philharmonic and classical music. The apropos of the exhibition is a rarely heard piece of the repertoire of the World Music Day’s celebration concert, Alberto Ginastera’s Variaciones Concertantes. As 12 variations, written for different musical instruments, of one motif, are in the Argentinean music piece so are the ready jewellery subjective variations of an only theme - the beautiful music of Ginastera – according to each creating artist’s habit, imagination and individual characteristic of material use, design and technique. The jewel variations will be shown at the first time to the audience of the festive concert at the Kodály Centre on 1st of October. We’ll welcome you to the opening ceremony commencing at 6:30pm. Furthermore, the exhibition could be viewed 3 at the Silver Fever Jewellery Gallery until 3rd November.
