Beata Trubin was born in Budapest and lives in Austria. She began her vocal studies by Artemis Gabor in Hungary and got her diploma at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz by Annemarie Zeller.
She is the winner of the 1. Mozart Competition in Budapest (for her role: Queen of the Night). Beata Trubin has played this part several times at Budapest State Opera and as a guest, in Brussels, Graz und Luxemburg.
She has toured in Japan, won competitions in Germany and Luxembourg, sung Clorinda in Rossini’s "Cinderella". To her repertory belong "Pretty Polly" (Birtwistle: Punch & Judy) and "Titania" (Britten: A Midsummer Nights Dream), she played Gerhilde in Wagner’s Walkürs and toured as Hanna Glawari in Lehar`s "The Merry Widow ", sings Mozart (Konstanze, Donna Anna), Donizetti (Lucia, Norina), Verdi (Gilda, Oscar), Offenbach (Olympia), Delibes (Lakme) and Richard Strauss (Zerbinetta, Sophie).
