Martin Draušnik's (Zagreb, 1981) activities include solo recitals, performances with numerous chamber ensembles as well as playing as concert master with different chamber and symphonic orchestras.
He graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb (violin) and continued his studies in Freiburg and in Stuttgart as a scholar of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences. During his education, apart from winning first prizes at Croatian competitions, he also won numerous awards and recognitions;
he became concert master of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra in 2011; parallelly, since 2005 he has served as concert master of I Virtuosi di Paganini, München. In 2012, he revived the Zagreb Philharmonic Chamber Studio, serving as its concert master as well as artistic leader. He is one of the founders of Porin String Quartet and Zagreb Trio, too. Appearances with different orchestras and ensembles have taken him on tours to Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Russia, Canada and the U
