About the Programme

The moment of the New Year always involves some sort of duality, which means some retrospection of the old year, in a summary way; and then comes the anticipation of the new one, for the future. The Pannon Philharmonic's New Year’s Gala Concert is going to pass in the spirit of duality: in addition to the traditional Viennese music, you can hear  the most popular work of Carl Orff, the Carmina Burana, which was composed in on a medieval poem collection referred as the anthem of spring, wine and love.

During the intermission, as courtesy of the orchestra's sponsors, our guests are welcome for a champagne toast.
